Lift Repairs Engineer

Role Overview

Lift Repair Engineer – London (within the North and South Circular). The role focuses on ensuring passenger safety by maintaining a portfolio of lifts and escalator units through planned and ad‑hoc repairs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute repair work across a territory, from minor fixes to major refurbishments.
• Handle both contractual repairs and quoted repair work.
• Liaise directly with customers on site, building and maintaining good working relationships.
• Use electronic and digital tools to document and track work progress.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator service, maintenance, or repair.
• Valid driver’s licence and within one hour commute of London.
• Minimum 24 months experience in the elevator sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering.
• Professional with safety as a priority, effective communicator, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
