Attendance Officer
XS209a GRADE 7 Actual Salary £18,324 – £20,179 pro rated per annum (Pay Award Pending)
30 Hours per week, term time only plus one inset day, permanent contract
Start date: 1st September 2026
We are looking to recruit a highly organised and self‑motivated Attendance Officer to join our Pastoral Support Team. This role is vital in supporting our students to fulfil their potential through regular school attendance. Through your work you will be responsible for liaising between home, school and other agencies in order for students to maintain a consistent level of education. You will be responsible for monitoring registers, verifying reasons for absence and identifying cases of non‑attendance that require further investigation. Working closely with stakeholders you will use your own drive and initiative to help the school to raise achievement by improving attendance and punctuality and to meet our attendance target.
