Child’s Voice and Creative Participation Officer

Overview

Liverpool City Council commits to the well‑being of children through the “Our City, Our Children, Together” practice model. The role supports the transformation of services by placing residents at the heart of delivery.

Role

As an experienced registered children’s and young people practitioner, you will support the implementation of the Families First Partnership programme within the Children and Young People’s Service, focusing on co‑production, participation and co‑design.

Responsibilities

  • Promote voice and engagement across participation and co‑design to influence service delivery.
  • Work closely with children, young people, their networks, the workforce and external partners to create sustainable positive outcomes for families.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the service in line with the Families First Partnership Programme.

Qualifications

  • Registered children’s and young people practitioner with relevant statutory experience (Education, Early Help, Youth Justice, Youth Work, Family Support or Social Work).
  • Exceptional and adaptable communication and engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fixed‑term role until 30 November 2028.
