Key Responsibilities

• Maximise profit: Focus on delivering great availability for your customers. Play an active role in your store to “sell a £1 & save a £1” to help drive sales. Deliver on all agreed actions set for you by your line manager.
• Engage, develop & retain great people: Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep in your store. Support team engagement. Create an inclusive culture where everyone can be their best. Take a proactive approach to personal development and share your knowledge to support up‑skilling the team.
• Doing the right processes: Complete any actions set for you by your line manager on the back of the daily floor walk, focusing on what the customer sees. Maintain a positive approach to service, both in store and at the doorstep, always aiming to be the best place to shop. Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies & processes. Provide the best digital service through implementing all “One Best Way” processes.
• Leadership: Lead with the heart of everything you do, to get the best from your team to give the best to our customers: Love your customers by being approachable. Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.
