Role Summary
The University of Sunderland is recruiting a Project Manager on a 1‑year fixed‑term basis to support the University change programme, delivering successful projects and change initiatives. This role uniquely combines Project Management, Process Improvement and Change Management.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working across any or multiple service or faculty areas.
- Support the Enterprise Project Management Office by providing Project Management, Process Improvement, and Enterprise Architecture capabilities.
- Implement change management practices across the institution.
- Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of complex business problems.
Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management, Process Improvement and/or Change Management with a proven record of delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong organisational and methodical approach with prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Ability to work from the Sunderland campus on a regular basis (hybrid position).
