About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to join our team at Site B (Amber) in West Bromwich on a 12-month maternity cover basis.

In this role, you will support the site engineering function with a range of administrative, reporting and coordination tasks. You’ll play a key part in ensuring engineering operations run efficiently by maintaining accurate records, supporting projects, and assisting with day‑to‑day departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate and maintain engineering KPIs, producing regular reports and dashboards
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Engineering Manager and wider team
  • Assist with engineering project support, including tracking timelines and gathering data
  • Maintain accurate records, document control, and filing systems
  • Raise purchase orders, track invoices, and support budget administration
  • Coordinate contractor bookings, permits, and site access requirements
  • Support maintenance planning activities and CMMS data updates (where applicable)
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, travel and general departmental organisation

About You

You’ll be highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You’ll have previous experience in an engineering or technical administration role and be confident managing multiple priorities.

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, facilities, or technical admin role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and managing data/reporting
  • Ability to support multiple stakeholders and prioritise workload effectively
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • Exposure to maintenance planning or engineering project coordination
  • Familiarity with purchase order systems or SAP
