Role Overview

We are a collaborative and environmentally focused Information Management team within WSP’s Earth & Environment discipline, supporting a growing portfolio of projects. You will oversee information management processes aligned to ISO 19650 standards, ensuring effective project information flow and governance. You will work closely with project teams and digital leads to embed consistent standards, support delivery, drive quality, and develop people to build confidence, capability and high‑quality information management practice. Our projects span major infrastructure and development programmes across sectors such as energy, transport, defence and the built environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage information processes in line with ISO 19650 standards
  • Maintain and optimise the Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Develop and manage BEP, MIDP and TIDP documentation
  • Coordinate information exchange requirements across stakeholders
  • Support and embed project information standards and procedures
  • Apply a security‑minded approach to data access and governance
  • Provide guidance and training on information management systems
  • Monitor quality and ensure compliance with agreed standards
  • Manage the review, validation and distribution of project asset information, including COBie, associated non‑graphical data, and graphical model outputs, ensuring that information model reviews are undertaken in accordance with ISO 19650 requirements.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience operating within BIM environments and leading or supporting Project Information Management
  • Confident and effective communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels across in‑person and digital channels
  • Demonstrated effective collaboration, influencing, driving outcomes and solving complex problems
  • Proven experience working within complex project or PMO environments, often across multidisciplinary teams
  • Good working knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDEs), including implementation and governance
  • Good understanding and practical application of ISO 19650 standards and wider information management frameworks
  • Experience leading, supporting and developing people, helping others build confidence, capability and high‑quality information management practice
