Supply Chain Coordinator

Contract

Gloucester

£20 – £25 p/h

Supply Chain Coordinator required by industry leading engineering company, based in Gloucester.

The successful Supply Chain Coordinator will play a key role in supporting project delivery through effective planning, supplier coordination, and ensuring accurate documentation and purchasing processes.

Main Duties Supply Chain Coordinator

  • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with project requirements
  • Support planning and coordination across multiple ongoing projects
  • Liaise with third‑party service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Act as the point of contact for queries relating to documentation and paperwork
  • Work closely with project leads to ensure smooth execution of project activities
  • Analyse project and purchasing data using Excel (including pivot tables)
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project‑related purchasing activities

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles
  • Strong understanding of the complexities involved in project‑based environments
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables and data analysis
  • Experience raising and managing purchase orders
  • Proven ability to coordinate tasks across multiple stakeholders
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise own workload
