Planning Officer

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council

Full‑time, permanent, 37 hours per week

Salary: £32,061 – £35,412 per annum

Responsibilities

• Produce new local plans, including reviewing the Green Belt, Town and District Centre regeneration and addressing housing and employment needs.
• Engage with stakeholders throughout the plan‑making process, demonstrating initiative and effective communication skills.
• Participate in a wide range of strategic planning work across both authorities.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic Planning Officer with a keen interest in meeting the challenges faced by Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils.
