ACEPP UK is a specialist engineering consultancy supporting some of the UK’s most significant energy and infrastructure programmes. As part of the Heverett Group, we provide highly skilled engineering and project delivery professionals to major projects across the nuclear, defence, construction and energy sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a French-speaking Business Development Executive to support and expand our presence across the UK nuclear industry, with a particular focus on Sizewell C and Hinkley Point C.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded individual who enjoys building long‑term relationships and supporting both clients and consultants.
Unlike a traditional business development role focused solely on winning new accounts, you will be joining an organisation with an established presence on some of the UK’s largest nuclear projects. ACEPP UK already has framework agreements, strong client relationships and a significant consultant population operating across these programmes.
Your focus will be on strengthening existing partnerships, identifying new opportunities within current accounts, developing relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring our consultants remain engaged, supported and successful throughout their assignments.
Fluency in French is essential, as you will regularly communicate with French‑speaking clients, stakeholders and consultants working across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients across the UK nuclear sector.
- Build upon ACEPP UK’s established presence within Sizewell C and Hinkley Point C.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and project teams.
- Create and nurture relationships with hiring managers, project leaders and key decision‑makers.
- Support commercial discussions, contract extensions and workforce planning activities.
- Represent ACEPP UK at client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
- Monitor project activity and identify future staffing requirements.
Consultant Management & Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for consultants deployed across client projects.
- Conduct regular site visits and face‑to‑face meetings with consultants.
- Ensure consultants feel supported, engaged and aligned with ACEPP UK’s values and expectations.
- Monitor consultant wellbeing, performance and overall job satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve any challenges or concerns before they impact project delivery.
- Support consultant onboarding, integration and retention.
- Build a strong community amongst ACEPP UK’s consultants working across the nuclear sector.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to communicate client requirements and workforce needs.
- Provide detailed project and vacancy briefings to ensure successful delivery.
- Share market intelligence and project updates with internal stakeholders.
- Support strategic growth initiatives across the nuclear sector.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent French and English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to build credibility with both clients and consultants.
- Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and client locations.
- Full driving licence.
- Experience within engineering, technical recruitment, energy, infrastructure or construction sectors.
- Knowledge of the UK nuclear industry.
- Familiarity with Sizewell C, Hinkley Point C or other major infrastructure projects.
