Deputy Decontamination Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the HSDU Manager in the operational management of the Sterile Services Department including budget, personnel and resource management.
• Support the provision of a high quality responsive and comprehensive sterile supplies service to meet the needs of the user throughout the Trust and primary care sectors.
• Ensure that clinical procedures within the James Paget University Hospital, and other units are supported with sterilised and decontaminated equipment delivered effectively, efficiently and economically.
• Assist in maintaining the department’s compliance and Accreditation to ISO14835.
• Deputise for the Sterile Services Manager when required.
