Katie Loxton is seeking an exceptional Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic creative team. You will design standout products across bags and accessories that will be cherished by customers across wholesale and retail channels, bringing stories to life through every collection.
The role operates Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm. You will spend time in our Banbury office three days a week with flexibility to work from home two days. During peak periods, working full‑time may be required.
Responsibilities
Design Support & Creative Contribution
- Assist in driving the brand forward through creative product design, supporting the company aesthetic.
- Support the creation of visuals, artwork, and accurate technical specification sheets across product and packaging.
- Help maintain product decks, range plans, product codes, pricing, and visuals.
- Contribute ideas for creative product solutions and support the team in overcoming design challenges.
- Support the sample process, checking quality and ensuring products meet brand standards.
Execution & Delivery
- Assist with end‑to‑end delivery of products, including specifications, packaging, tags, care labels, POS, and sample checks.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail and accuracy across all outputs.
- Track project progress and provide updates to designers, supporting timely delivery against seasonal deadlines.
- Maintain critical paths, product codes, colour references, and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare for key meetings, organise samples, and maintain a high standard in product development communication.
- Work closely with Product Designers, Senior Designers, and cross‑functional teams (Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, E‑commerce, Wholesale) to support project delivery.
- Communicate progress clearly, raise queries proactively, and elevate issues to meet deadlines.
- Provide insights on competitors, trends, and product innovations to inform the design team.
Design & Creative Leadership
- Lead the development of gifting and lifestyle products, ensuring collections are commercially strong, on‑brand, and aligned with our affordable luxury positioning.
- Shape the creative direction and product vision for seasonal collections across all channels.
- Support the creation of initial concepts, colour palettes, and campaign ideas, ensuring cohesion across the wider company communication.
- Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, E‑commerce, Wholesale, and Creative teams to enhance product success.
- Confidently present creative concepts to senior stakeholders and clearly communicate final collections to wider teams.
- Maintain proactive communication with suppliers to ensure alignment on product vision, timelines, and quality development.
- Line‑manage Product Designers and Design Assistants, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Conduct performance reviews and development conversations.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, sharing best practice and expertise.
Qualifications
- Design qualification in fashion or product design with senior experience delivering products from concept to production.
- Strong, concept‑driven portfolio reflecting brand values, commercial objectives, and high‑quality execution.
- Experience line‑managing or mentoring midweight/junior designers and delivering projects on time.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Knowledge of packaging design, typography, retail products, accessories, and gifting trends.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance creativity with business objectives.
- Exceptional visual communication, attention to detail, and brand consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
