We have exciting opportunities for Line Leaders to join our Operations team in Pilgrim’s Europe – at Ballymena site. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the production department, ensuring targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the efficient running of the production line.
• Lead and support operatives to achieve daily targets for production, quality, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
• Manage and monitor work rates, hygiene, housekeeping, and technical standards.
• Report and address machinery breakdowns, faults, or other issues in collaboration with engineering staff.
• Assist in training, discipline, and grievance handling where required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Promote a safe working environment, ensuring all team members are trained and compliant with H&S procedures.

Essential

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good level of English (verbal, written & reading).
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good team player with strong problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and self‑motivated with good decision‑making skills.
• Strong timekeeping and commitment to quality.

Desirable

• Previous supervisory experience in a poultry/meat or manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a supervisory role.
