Branch Supervisor – Edinburgh

High Level Spec:

• Monthly bonus scheme.
• 32 days annual leave including bank holidays.
• Direct reports: 1 Sales & Service Advisor and 1 Towbar & Service Technician.
• Basic hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (3½ hours) per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of the branch and overall presentation in conjunction with daily operation and motivation of the retail branch and team members.
• Ensure excellent customer service is achieved.
• Maximise branch internal and external sales and margin.
• Actively sell and promote Indespension trailers, parts, associated equipment and services within agreed pricing structures.
• Keep the sales manager informed regarding branch activities and team performance.
• Generate/promote sales to counteract the activities of the Company’s competitors.
• Become familiar with all products supplied by Indespension and gain market penetration through personal contact, telephone calls and promotions.
• Ensure sales enquiries are handled correctly and processed within an acceptable time frame.
• Maintain a customer record system detailing sales, leads and follow‑ups, and control branch stock of parts and finished trailers within agreed stocking and budgetary guidelines.
• Ensure systems are in place for maintaining stock inventory and accurately carry out and control stock‑taking as determined by the company, ensuring all staff participate as required.
• Ensure the branch is kept clean, tidy and well presented and stocked with a comprehensive range of parts, trailers, leaflets and branding materials.
• Hold a current, valid UK driving licence.
