Location: Cannock

Status: Full Time

Pay: £32,597 – £36,363 per annum (pay award pending)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week

About the role

We are seeking a Planning Enforcement Officer to join our established high‑performing Development Management Team working across Cannock Chase District. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing development of our service and you’ll be at the heart of a varied and rewarding workload, helping to deliver high quality services within our District.

About you

  • Qualified in GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent academic or vocational experience)
  • Experienced in Planning Enforcement, working across a broad range of planning and development matters and able to demonstrate experience of the planning enforcement process and used to working with customers in potentially difficult or challenging situations
  • Confident operating in a public sector or similarly complex environment
  • Collaborative, professional and committed to delivering high quality planning enforcement services/advice
