Commercial Operations Manager – RVC Students’ Union

Are you a commercially driven manager with a track record of growing revenue and leading successful operations? We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to lead and develop our Students’ Union commercial services.

This is a hands‑on role where you will grow income, manage venues, and deliver activity that drives engagement and sales—including events, promotions, and partnerships.

The Role

  • Lead day‑to‑day operations of SU bars and commercial outlets.
  • Drive income growth and financial performance.
  • Develop new revenue streams (partnerships, sponsorships, merchandise)
  • Deliver events and promotions that increase footfall and sales.
  • Manage budgets, performance, and compliance.
  • Lead and develop student and casual staff.

About You

  • Experience in commercial operations (hospitality, retail, or similar)
  • Strong track record of growing revenue and hitting targets.
  • Experience delivering income‑generating activity (events, promotions, or campaigns)
  • Strong financial, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
