We’re looking for a Business Services Co‑ordinator to join us at the National Trust. You’ll pride yourself on delivering first‑class administrative support and will be willing to learn how each team in the Directorate plays its part, sharing your own knowledge and ideas.

What it’s like to work here

You’ll join the National Trust Land & Nature Directorate, providing dedicated support. Through our work, you’ll play your part in the successful delivery of our upcoming strategy, People and Nature Thriving. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office 2 days a week. However, there is flexibility on where you’re based at other times. You’ll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40–60% of your working week, which will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you’ll be doing

As well as supporting a busy team with its day‑to‑day operations, you’ll have the chance to support a variety of projects. You’ll champion best practice by sign‑posting guidance and providing basic training to the wider team, enabling them to self‑serve in areas such as business travel and purchasing. You’ll be responsible for diary management, keeping things simple and on track, with a flexible approach to managing and anticipating requirements. You’ll be comfortable organising complex travel itineraries and supporting more efficient ways of working, smarter travel and our strategic aim to reduce carbon and cost.

Who we’re looking for

  • Relevant experience in a Business Support environment
  • Experience in diary management
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player who can prioritise and plan effectively
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
