Maintenance Technician Electrical

• Bury-st-edmunds Relevant industry experience, preferably in malting/milling or heavy industrial environments involving large capacity grain/cereal handling, conveying, elevating, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
• Mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge
• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and fault finding
• Operational and fault‑finding knowledge of PLC and inverter control
• Ability to test and identify motor and wiring faults
• Electrical installation experience and relevant qualifications
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out/Safe Isolation, Working at Height, Permit to Work, Confined Space, ATEX/DSEAR, etc.
• Shift work experience, preferably 12-hour continental shifts
• Ability to work independently within a small shift team (1 x electrical, 1 x mechanical)
• Ability to provide basic hand tools; site‑specific or specialist tools and equipment will be provided
