Commercial Manager – London – Facades Subcontractor
Up to £105,000. Leading facade subcontractor with 50+ years of experience and an annual turnover exceeding £50m in the UK.
The role involves managing a large-scale commercial build project in the city, running at least one major project and overseeing the commercial team on site and in the office.
Responsibilities
- Updating cost plans
- Measurements
- Providing written quotations
- Negotiating final accounts
- Meeting clients and subcontractors
- Applications for payments
- Investigating, notifying and substantiating variations
- Contract administration and solid experience in contract management
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a facade, curtain wall or roofing subcontractor. Experience working with main contractors or other subcontractors is desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform exceptionally well on large projects.
HND or degree in Quantity Surveying desirable but not essential.
