Duties will include, but are not limited to: n n- Developing and managing a comprehensive Facility Maintenance Plan n- Performing and overseeing maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more n- Coordinating and supervising contractors and vendors on-site n- Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment n- Reporting directly to the Facility Manager and advising senior personnel n nBe part of a mission-driven team supporting U.S. diplomatic operations in the UK. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified. n n EDUCATION: nCompletion of Secondary School is required and/or completion of vocational training from an accredited institute recognised as producing journeyman level technicians with a concentration in either HVAC, electrical, plumbing or diesel engine mechanic. n n EXPERIENCE: nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities management, maintenance and operations, including oversight of contractors.
