As they continue to grow, they’re looking for an enthusiastic part-qualified Assistant Accountant to join their Sheffield-based finance team. You’ll play a hands-on role in the company’s day-to-day finances while continuing your studies with full support and mentorship from experienced finance professionals.
What you’ll be doing
Processing and managing accounts payable and receivable to keep operations running smoothly
Supporting monthly and quarterly close, including accruals and journals
Helping prepare quarterly financial reports and insights for stakeholders
Managing employee expenses and prepayment cards accurately and on time
Keeping the ERP system up to date and maintaining data integrity
Getting involved in a variety of finance tasks to support the wider team
What we’re looking for
Part-qualified or actively studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA (study support provided)
Solid double entry bookkeeping and a sound grasp of core accounting principles
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail
Well organised, able to juggle multiple priorities to deadline
Proactive, eager to learn, and keen to grow within an ambitious team
