Junior Sales Consultant (Entry-Level)

Pay: £25,000 base Salary + Performance based incentives
Year 1 OTE: £35,000 to £45,000
Sage Associates is looking for confident, motivated people in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands who are ready to build a proper career in sales, customer engagement and professional communication.
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, likes working towards goals and wants hands-on training in a fast-paced commercial environment. You do not need previous sales experience. We are more interested in your attitude, confidence, reliability and willingness to learn.
As a Junior Sales Consultant, you will be part of an on-site team representing well-known brands such as BT/EE, Mercedes, Eon and learning how to connect with customers in a professional, face-to-face environment. You will gain practical experience in customer conversations, product knowledge, relationship building, sales process and performance development.
This role is well suited to someone who has experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, events, sport, call centres, promotions or any people-focused role. It may also suit someone looking for their first full-time role after college, university or a career change.
What you will be doing:
You will learn how to approach and engage with customers confidently, understand customer needs, explain products and services clearly, work towards individual and team goals, and develop stronger communication and commercial awareness.
You will receive training from the start, with ongoing support from experienced team members. The focus is on helping you build confidence, improve your skills and progress based on performance.
