Head of Strategic Development

Location: UK (Flexible)

JBAndrews is supporting a global leader in contract logistics in the search for a senior commercial leader to drive growth across its European business.

This is a high-impact, pure new business role focused on winning new logos across the UK. It offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on revenue growth within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

The Role

This position is not account management focused. Success will come from identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition across the UK
  • Build and manage a high-value sales pipeline
  • Lead complex tender and RFQ processes
  • Develop solution-led logistics propositions
  • Collaborate closely with solution design and operations teams
  • Engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite decision makers

Key Objectives

  • Deliver measurable new business wins
  • Support growth in a £€1B European Growth Special
  • Strengthen UK presence while contributing to wider European growth

Candidate Profile

  • Proven hunter with a track record of winning new logos
  • Experience in contract logistics, multi-user, or dedicated operations
  • Strong understanding of open-book commercial models
  • Ability to work effectively with solution design functions
