Legal Secretary – Property Team – Leeds
Full-Time | Hybrid | Permanent
Are you an organised and proactive Legal Secretary with Property experience? Join a supportive and professional team where you’ll play a key role in helping Partners and fee earners deliver an exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and resolving potential conflicts
- Providing administrative and secretarial support, including correspondence, e-filing, billing, diary management
- Opening, maintaining, and closing client files
- Liaising with clients and taking instructions under the supervision of fee earners
- Preparing, amending, and finalising legal documents
- Supporting property transactions, including: searches, SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, engrossments, completion preparation
- Assisting with monthly billing and team financial reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Legal Secretary experience, ideally within Property/Conveyancing
- Strong document production skills, including: Formatting documents, applying house styles, tables of contents, tracking changes, formula management
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication and client-facing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and other legal IT systems
