Location: Glasgow, office based

Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Role Overview

As Ecommerce Executive, you will play a key role in driving the success of our global ecommerce channels. You’ll be responsible for supporting the creation, publishing, merchandising, and optimisation of digital content across our online platforms.

  • Are you passionate about ecommerce and understand how great product information can improve customer experience and search visibility?
  • Do you have an interest in SEO and digital marketing, with a desire to optimise content to improve organic performance?
  • Can you write engaging, accurate and persuasive product copy that inspires customers and performs well in search engines?
  • Do you have experience working with modern ecommerce platforms and digital systems, with the ability to analyse data and manage content accurately?
  • Are you excited by emerging technologies, including AI, and keen to use data-driven insights to continuously improve content, search performance and digital experiences?
  • Do you have excellent attention to detail and enjoy maintaining high standards of content quality and accuracy?
  • Are you proactive, analytical and comfortable collaborating with teams across marketing, buying and ecommerce to deliver continuous improvements?

What does a typical day look like?

  • Creating, optimising and maintaining product content to ensure listings are accurate, engaging and fully optimised for SEO.
  • Carrying out keyword research and implementing SEO best practices across product pages, category pages and other onsite content.
  • Supporting content marketing initiatives, including campaign landing pages, buying guides and seasonal content.
  • Monitoring organic search performance, identifying opportunities to improve rankings, traffic and conversion.
  • Using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console and SEO platforms to report on content performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Working closely with buying, photography and marketing teams to ensure new products are launched with high-quality, search-optimised content.
  • Conducting regular site audits to identify content gaps, broken links, metadata improvements and technical SEO opportunities.
  • Supporting PPC and digital marketing activity by ensuring landing pages and product content are relevant, optimised and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Continuously reviewing competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities to improve visibility, content quality and the overall customer experience.
