Salt are partnering with a leading creative agency and are looking for a Social Media Account Manager to join on a contract basis.
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Day Rate: £300–£400 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: Initial 3 months with potential to extend (Immediate start)
About the Role:
This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role supporting social-first campaigns and always-on content programmes for globally recognised brands. You will play a key part in ensuring projects run smoothly from planning through to execution, managing multiple workstreams and keeping timelines, stakeholders and outputs aligned.
A significant portion of the role will involve supporting multi-market social activity across a major healthcare brand, ensuring consistent delivery across channels and regions.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including strategy, creative, production, media and analytics to deliver high-quality content on time and to brief, while maintaining strong governance and approval processes.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage project timelines, schedules and delivery plans across social campaigns
- Oversee content scheduling and publishing across platforms
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, identifying risks and resolving blockers early
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including creative, design, motion, production and account management
- Maintain project documentation including trackers, workflow systems and status reports
- Lead internal meetings, ensuring clear actions and accountability
- Manage approval processes, ensuring compliance with client, legal and regulatory requirements
- Support campaign launches and ongoing content delivery across organic and paid social
- Collaborate with media and analytics teams to align on performance tracking and reporting timelines
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and output quality
- Ensure exceptional attention to detail across all deliverables
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in project management or delivery within a creative, social, digital or integrated agency
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats and end-to-end campaign workflows
- Experience across both organic and paid social campaigns
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- High attention to detail with strong quality control capabilities
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
- Confident working with timelines, budgets, resource plans and tracking tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams and clients
- Able to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic agency environment
