HR Manager
Our relationship-driven and hugely successful US law firm client is seeking to hire for a newly created HR Manager role – with strong ER experience and UK employment law knowledge. While technical skills are important, this firm is equally focused on finding the right person – someone who thrives on building relationships, genuinely cares about people, and will make a real impact within one of the most collaborative and supportive HR teams in the market.
- Salary to £95,000

Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager:
- Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations across the London office
- Lead, manage and provide expert advice on a broad range of employee relations, performance management, and UK employment law, handling complex cases including grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution
- Partner with managers and partners to deliver strategic people solutions that support business objectives, talent development, workforce planning, and employee engagement
- Support annual salary reviews, performance evaluations, and compensation processes
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems
Skills & Requirements of the HR Manager:
- 5+ years of HR experience within an ER focused role within a law firm is essential
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Extensive experience managing employee relations cases from initial investigation through to resolution
- Demonstrated experience coaching and influencing managers at all levels
- Experienced in managing and mentoring a team
- CIPD qualified
