Sales Specialist – Veterinary Diagnostics
Hartmann Young is partnered with an established veterinary diagnostics company, seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Specialist to join their Large Animal Diagnostics team in Europe, reporting to the VP Sales.
The role
- Research and identify new leads and potential customers through multiple channels;
- Engage with prospects via outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to drive new business opportunities;
- Nurture leads through the sales process, including quotation follow-ups and next-step coordination;
- Understand customer needs and match them with suitable products or services;
- Confidently present, explain, and demonstrate product features and benefits;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and leads in the CRM system;
- Collaborate with internal teams to hand over qualified opportunities for further development and closure;
- Stay informed about product updates and attend internal training sessions;
- Develop and execute activity plans, track progress, and report on performance.
The person
- Experience in the veterinary diagnostics sector;
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a structured approach to work;
- Practical problem-solver with a proactive, positive mindset;
- Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments;
- Confident and approachable communication style;
- Fluent in English (additional proficiency in French or another European language is a plus);
- Supportive and cooperative approach when working with the wider Sales team;
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 20%).
