Private Client Associate / Senior Associate (5+ PQE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked Private Client team based in Birmingham or Solihull.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing department with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client service to high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and entrepreneurs. You’ll inherit a well-established caseload from day one, with full administrative support, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality legal advice while enjoying an excellent work-life balance.
The Role
You’ll advise clients on a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Wills and complex estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Inheritance Tax planning
- Trust creation and administration
- Business succession planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Wealth preservation
- Lifetime planning and succession strategies
Working alongside experienced Partners and Senior Associates, you’ll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the department while developing long-term relationships with an established client base.
About You
- Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ years’ PQE
- Ideally STEP qualified, although this is not essential
- Strong experience across the full spectrum of private client work
- Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills
- Looking to join a collaborative, high-performing Legal 500 team
- Keen to contribute to the continued success and growth of the department
