Paraplanner
Manchester | Hybrid Working
£40,000 to £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications) plus benefits
MBF are currently working with a modern and ambitious financial planning firm in Manchester that is looking to recruit a Paraplanner as part of its continued growth.
This is an opportunity to join a business that is genuinely trying to do things differently.
Alongside delivering high quality financial planning, they are investing heavily in technology, automation and AI to improve the way advice is delivered, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes as much as producing first class technical work.
Whether you’re an experienced Paraplanner looking for your next challenge or someone earlier in your career with the right attitude and technical ability, all options can be considered at this stage.
The Role
You’ll work closely with Financial Planners, providing technical support across a wide range of financial planning cases while also contributing ideas on how technology can improve efficiency and client outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- • Preparing suitability reports
- • Technical research and analysis
- • Pension, investment and protection research
- • Liaising with providers and product platforms
- • Supporting advisers throughout the advice process
- • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes
- • Contributing towards the firm’s use of AI and automation within the paraplanning function
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- • Previous Paraplanning experience within a UK financial planning firm
- • Level 4 Diploma, or be working towards it
- • Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills
- • A keen interest in technology and process improvement
- • A proactive mindset with a desire to find smarter ways of working
You certainly don’t need to be an AI expert. The business is looking for someone who is open to new ideas, enjoys learning and wants to help shape the future of paraplanning rather than simply following established processes.
