Job Description:

We are seeking Quantity Surveyors to join our clients Cost Management team, contributing to the continued growth of our business and supporting the delivery of large projects with opportunities available across a variety of sectors including: Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial and Regeneration.

Our client is a leading Construction Consultancy offering project management, cost and commercial management as well as advisory services with the opportunity to progress into a variety of other sectors / roles.

You will work across a variety of client projects, delivering best-in-class cost management and contributing to successful outcomes in line with project and organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Client and Stakeholder Engagement –

  • Build and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders involved in projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Contract Administration –

  • Manage and administer a variety of contracts, ensuring adherence to project objectives, governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Implement contract change management processes effectively to keep projects on track.

Cost Management –

  • Monitor, forecast, and report project costs accurately to completion, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Proactively identify and manage cost variances and maintain contract cash flow integrity.
  • Prepare and submit applications and valuations in a timely manner.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

  • Must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager for a Construction Consultancy
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering)
  • Have full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship is available)
