I’m currently partnering with a leading UK planning and development consultancy seeking an ambitious Planning Director to join its established Cambridge team.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of a highly successful planning practice, delivering projects across a broad range of sectors including residential, education, healthcare, commercial, energy and mixed-use development.
The Role
• Lead the delivery of major planning projects from inception through to determination.
• Build and strengthen relationships with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.
• Support the growth of the business through networking and business development activities.
• Provide expert planning advice on a variety of development opportunities.
• Manage, mentor and develop members of the planning team.
• Help shape the strategic direction of the office and wider planning business.
About You
• MRTPI qualified with significant planning consultancy experience.
• Strong understanding of planning policy and development management.
• A successful track record of securing and delivering projects.
• Commercially minded with experience generating new business opportunities.
• Confident leading teams and managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
