Business Development Manager
Permanent | 35 hours per week Location: Hybrid / Remote | £40,000 – £42,000 p.a.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive income across advertising, sponsorship, and B2B qualification and training sales. You’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, identify new business opportunities, and take ownership of the institute’s jobs board and recruitment advertising services.
This is a client‑facing role suited to someone who is proactive, confident, and motivated by achieving results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing new commercial partnerships and delivering revenue targets.
- Managing and growing high‑value sponsorship and advertising accounts.
- Building tailored commercial proposals aligned to client needs.
- Leading and expanding the jobs board and recruitment advertising offering.
- Working closely with Marketing and Events to deliver campaigns and sponsorship activations.
- Analysing performance data to identify growth opportunities.
- Representing the organisation at industry events to build brand presence and pipeline.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in sales and account management with revenue responsibility.
- Background in media, publishing, events, recruitment, or professional services.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and closing skills.
- Commercial acumen and a data‑driven approach.
