RTA Paralegal

A well-established, top 100 law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its busy Road Traffic Accidents team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting client and witness statements
• Preparing instructions for medical experts and counsel
• Drafting and preparing court documentation
• Reviewing and organising medical records
• Analysing medical reports
• Conducting legal research on liability and quantum
• Liaising with clients and providing case updates
• Preparing court bundles
• Assisting with billing and disbursement processes
• Attending conferences and hearings, taking detailed notes
• Providing ongoing client communication and support
• General file management and administrative tasks

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in road traffic accident and personal injury work
• A solid understanding of relevant legal principles and court procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent legal research and analytical ability
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• The ability to anticipate next steps and work proactively
• A client-focused approach, with empathy and professionalism
