IN HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL – CENTRAL BELT [DISPUTES] 1- 5 YRS PQE + [ HALF DAY EVERY FRIDAY]

LEGAL COUNSEL – 12 MONTH CONTRACT (possibility to go permanent)

• We need a Legal guru to join us, working closely with our Group Legal Counsel to provide legal advice across all commercial, disputes and compliance activities.
• Your number one responsibility will be to keep us within the law. Advise us in plain English about what we need to do, and when.
• Opportunities like this don’t come along often – you will have exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders and complex projects globally.
• We are a fast-paced business with priorities shifting all the time. Questions from all parts of the business will be flung your way, from Procurement to Finance right through to Human Resources – you will be exposed to so many people every day.
• Every day will bring different types of legal issues. Ideally we are looking for candidates with strong disputes experience.

• You will be a Qualified Solicitor, preferably in Scots Law but other jurisdictions will be considered.
• Ideally, you’ll have somewhere between 1 and 5 years PQE or more !
• You will be a self-starter and will be happy to join a new business from the comfort of your own home. 2 days in the office and the rest is WFH.
