About the Company:

Our client is a highly respected financial planning business that forms part of a larger, long-established financial services group. With a reputation built on technical excellence, client service, and long-term stability, the firm offers the resources of a larger organisation whilst maintaining the collaborative culture of a close-knit wealth management team.

The business continues to grow through organic development and client book acquisitions, creating excellent long-term career opportunities for ambitious financial planning professionals.

Role Summary:

An experienced Paraplanner is sought to support a team of Financial Advisers through technical research, report writing and financial planning support. Working alongside highly qualified technical specialists, including Fellowship-level professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to further develop your expertise within a supportive environment that actively invests in professional development.

This can be a Senior Paraplanning opportunity for someone who wants to become a highly qualified technical subject matter expert, or a route into financial advice for those with longer-term ambitions to become an Adviser.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality suitability reports and recommendations that support positive client outcomes.

• Conduct research across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning solutions.

• Analyse client circumstances and develop appropriate planning strategies.

• Work closely with advisers, administrators and technical specialists to progress client cases efficiently.

• Support ongoing client review processes and recommendations.

• Ensure all work meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma qualified (Level 4 Financial Planning or equivalent).

• Experience working as a Paraplanner within a financial planning environment.

• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning.

• Ability to write suitability reports independently.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Working towards Advanced Diploma or Chartered status would be advantageous.

If this role isn’t quite right, it’s still worth speaking to one of our specialist team — we may be working on something that hasn’t hit the market yet.
