Senior Quantity Surveyor
Working for an engineering contractor delivering works under a multi-year Overhead Line framework with SSEN Distribution across the north of Scotland network, supporting the upgrade, refurbishment, and maintenance of overhead line infrastructure across all distribution voltages within the Aberdeenshire and wider SSEN north region.
Location: – Aberdeen
Day Rate: – £550 a day (Outside IR35)
Role Description:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with an engineering contractor delivering works across a multi-year Overhead Line framework with SSEN Distribution across the north of Scotland. The programme covers the upgrade, refurbishment, and maintenance of overhead line infrastructure across all distribution voltages within the Aberdeenshire and wider SSEN north network area.
Due to continued framework workload and ongoing investment in network resilience and capacity upgrades, they are looking to appoint an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery across active and upcoming works.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience within Quantity Surveying, ideally within power, utilities, or civil engineering environments
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts within a framework or infrastructure setting
- Experience working within utility or energy frameworks is highly advantageous
- Background in overhead line, power distribution, or wider T&D environments preferred
- Ability to independently manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost reporting, forecasting and change management
