ISEB is looking for an Operations Delivery Manager to lead the operational delivery of our portfolio of qualifications, assessments and publishing products. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a time of growth as we continue to develop and expand our assessment and qualifications offer for independent schools.

You’ll lead a small, dedicated team responsible for delivering assessment cycles from registration through to results and certification, ensuring every product is delivered efficiently, securely and to the highest standards. Alongside managing day-to-day operations, you’ll play a key role in improving processes, enhancing the customer experience and ensuring new products are successfully introduced into operational delivery.

Working closely with colleagues across product development, education, customer communications and commercial teams, you’ll help ensure our assessments and services continue to meet the needs of schools while maintaining the high standards for which ISEB is known.

About the role

The Operations Delivery Manager role will cover the following areas:

  • Qualification and publishing delivery and operational management
  • Customer experience and operational communications
  • Product readiness and cross-functional collaboration
  • Budget, suppliers and resource management
  • Reporting, data and continuous improvement
  • Leadership and management

Salary: Up to £35k per annum, dependent on experience.

About you

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Significant experience delivering qualifications, assessments or education services
  • Experience managing complex operational programmes and assessment delivery
  • Excellent planning, organisational and project management skills
  • A strong focus on customer experience and continuous improvement
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Experience managing large operational budgets and systems of suppliers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Experience within an awarding organisation or assessment provider would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of digital assessment delivery, publishing or the independent schools sector.
