I’m working with a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked firm in Hertfordshire that is looking to appoint an ambitious Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor to join its established and growing team

The Opportunity
From day one, you’ll work alongside experienced employment specialists on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, advising an impressive client base that includes businesses, senior executives, and HR professionals across a range of sectors
You’ll gain exposure to:
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Redundancy and restructuring projects
- Settlement agreements
- Employment contracts and staff handbooks
- Restrictive covenants and post-termination disputes
- Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
- TUPE matters
- Day-to-day HR and employment law advisory work
This is an excellent platform for an NQ looking to accelerate their development while benefiting from approachable partners and a genuine open-door culture
You’ll ideally have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales (or be due to qualify shortly)
- A seat in Employment Law during your training contract
- Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
- A genuine enthusiasm for building a long-term career in employment law
