Job Description:

Remote Property Litigation Solicitor | Senior level (5+ PQE) | Legal 500 and award winning boutique | £75 – £85k | 2 days a month in-office in office

Role: Property Litigation Senior Solicitor – 5+ PQE

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000

Firm: Boutique Property Firm

Location: Remote Working (2vdays a month in office)

A progressive and friendly Legal 500 firm, previously awarded as a “Top Law Firm” by The Times newspaper, is looking for a strong Senior Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate) to join their reputable Property Litigation team on a predominantly remote basis. This is an expansion position and the firm typically manage a diverse caseload of complex real estate disputes, arising primarily from residential estates in the London area, including high quality landlord and tenant, service charge, development, property management, dilapidation, possession, and forfeiture matters.

The firm is well established, focusing solely on property matters and offering a highly competitive renumeration package, including a percentage based bonus scheme. Due to their location in the East Midlands, they are happy to offer significant amounts of remote working, with many current employees attending the office only only 2 days a month. This makes it an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor, based in London or regionally, looking to push their career forwards at a senior level while maintaining an excellent work/life balance and a high quality caseload!

An ideal candidate will be ambitious, with an interest in progression and assisting with the development of the team and greater firm. The firm would consider litigation solicitors with either a residential or commercial property background and can provide training in areas of weakness. A strong personality fit is absolutely essential and the firm maintains a good culture, often undertaking team building exercises after firm meetings, with previous events including escape rooms, BBQs, karaoke, and office lunches.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of property disputes focusing primarily on residential estates to include service charge disputes, development disputes, and property management disputes.
  • Assist partners with the management of the team, and support junior members of staff in developing their careers and managing cases,
  • Develop relationships with clients, following firm growth plans, handling clients directly, and developing ongoing relationships,
  • Assist with the continued growth of the team and greater firm,
  • Time record to reasonable targets (approx 5.5h a day),

Skills and Experience:

  • UK qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in a reputable boutique, national or international firm,
  • Experience and confidence managing a variety of property litigation matters (training to be provided on any missing areas),
  • Keen proponent of team development and strong business development skills,
  • Ability to lead in relevant matters while assisting junior members of staff,
  • A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal growth and strong interpersonal skills.

As renumeration, they offer a competitive salary and extensive remote working, with a significant benefits package available on request, including a generous bonus scheme based upon current billings. The firm offers excellent opportunities for progression and personal development.
