The main purpose of the role will be to serve as the technical point of contact for internal business teams and process owners and engage with external stakeholders to resolve technical matters and cases
Key Tasks
- Resolve technical queries and cases with external stakeholders.
- Deliver work in line with internal and external deadlines, ensuring compliance with GDPR, ICO guidelines, and Right of Access principles.
- Manage complex or high-value cases and complaints, including Pensions Ombudsman and Early Resolution Service cases and Subject Access Requests.
- Produce monthly client statistics and reporting data.
- Identify, recommend, and progress improvements in processes, wording, systems, and scheme literature.
- Work with colleagues to anticipate and mitigate technical risks or changes.
- Adhere to quality management standards, regulatory frameworks, and company policies.
- Participate in meetings, agreeing and delivering actions on time.
- Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues, sharing knowledge across the team.
- Support the delivery of team objectives and promote constructive input in meetings.
Skills and Experience
- Defined Benefit (DB) pensions experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate complex case information clearly and accurately to different audiences.
- Experience handling regulatory complaints and disputes.
- Skilled in building relationships and acting as a technical resource.
