- is.Identifying commercial risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategi
- es.Procuring and managing subcontract packag
- es.Preparing and administering subcontract agreements and associated documentati
- on.Reviewing, valuing, and certifying subcontractor applications for payme
- nt.Managing variations, compensation events, and change control process
- es.Supporting the resolution of contractual and commercial disputes where requir
- ed.Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, and industry standar
- ds.Providing guidance and mentoring to Assistant and Quantity Surveyors within the te

entsThe successful applicant will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a proven background in civil engineering contrac
ting.You should
- have:Previous experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor posi
- tion.A track record of working for a main contractor on highways or wider civil engineering proj
- ects.Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contr
- acts.Excellent commercial management and cost control capabili
- ties.Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement sk
- ills.The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environ
- ment.Good IT and numerical skills with a strong attention to de
- tail.A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regional project locations when requ
