Senior HR Business Partner

£60,000 – £70,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits, Hampshire (Hybrid Working)

Are you a commercially minded HR professional who thrives on influencing senior leaders, driving business performance and leading through change?

We’re recruiting for an exceptional Senior HR Business Partner opportunity within a dynamic, fast-paced and highly successful organisation. This is a genuine strategic partnering role, offering significant visibility across the business and the opportunity to shape people strategy at senior leadership level.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team and management population, partnering across a diverse range of functions including operations, logistics, finance, sales and marketing. You’ll play a key role in delivering the people agenda, supporting organisational growth and helping to create an engaging, high-performing culture.

For the right person, this role offers substantial career development opportunities and clear progression potential.

The Opportunity

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders to influence business strategy and drive organisational performance
  • Provide expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, employee engagement and change management
  • Lead on complex employee relations matters and provide pragmatic, commercially focused solutions
  • Coach and develop leaders to enhance capability and performance
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning and leadership development initiatives
  • Use data and insights to inform decision-making and shape HR priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement across people processes and business operations
  • Deputise for the Head of HR when required
  • Line manage and develop an HR Advisor

This role would suit a confident HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, challenging constructively and becoming a true business partner rather than simply providing HR support.

About You

I’m keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification
  • Degree-level education
  • Significant HR Business Partner experience gained within complex business environments
  • A strong track record of partnering with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align people strategy with business objectives
  • Experience leading through organisational change and transformation
  • Strong employee relations expertise, including managing complex cases
  • Previous people management experience
  • Excellent influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • Resilience, positivity and a solutions-focused approach

Experience within operational, logistics, distribution or multi-site environments would be advantageous, as would exposure to international or global organisations.

What’s On Offer?

  • Salary of £60,000 – £70,000
  • 10% annual bonus
  • Hybrid working
  • Private medical cover (single)
  • 9% employer pension contribution
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Additional birthday or wellbeing day
  • Health assessments
  • Staff discounts
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Genuine career progression opportunities

Working Pattern

This is a hybrid position based primarily from the Hampshire office.

The successful candidate will typically work on-site 3-4 days per week, with Monday being a key office day, although additional office presence is encouraged during the initial period to build relationships and gain a thorough understanding of the business.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with an energetic, inclusive and people-focused culture. The business has evolved significantly over the past 18 months and continues to look ahead with ambition and optimism. Employees describe it as a fun, collaborative and engaging environment, where people are passionate about what they do, embrace challenges with a positive mindset and genuinely enjoy working together.

If you’re looking for a strategic HR role where you can make a real impact, build trusted relationships across the business and position yourself for future career progression, we’d love to hear from you.
