Job Description:

Residential Property Solicitor

York

Salary up to £60k

A leading law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join its well-established and highly regarded Residential Property team in its York city centre office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team, handling a high-quality caseload rather than a high-volume conveyancing environment. The firm has built an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client service and offers a collaborative culture where lawyers are encouraged to develop and progress their careers.

You will manage your own varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Shared ownership transactions
  • General residential property matters

You’ll be supported by an established team and have the autonomy to deliver a first-class service to a loyal client base.

To be considered, you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing
  • Be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
  • Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail

What’s on Offer?

  • Salary up to £60,000, depending on experience
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • York city centre office location
  • High-quality, non-volume caseload
  • Join an established and supportive Residential Property team
  • Genuine opportunities for career development within a leading firm
  • Competitive benefits package

If you’re looking to move away from a volume conveyancing environment and join a respected firm where quality of work and client service come first, we’d love to hear from you.
