Job Description:

PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Health Economics Project Manager to join our pharmaceutical client based in Bracknell. This is an initial 12-month contract, working 36.25 hours per week, with a hybrid working pattern requiring a minimum of 2–3 days per week in the office. The pay rate for this role is £35.00 p/hour PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex HEOR/RWE and research projects across multiple business units.
  • Coordinate project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage third-party organisations (TPOs/CROs), including vendor onboarding, contracting, invoicing, and performance oversight.
  • Develop and review RFPs, proposals, and change orders while ensuring project governance and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including scientists, procurement teams, business leaders, and external vendors.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and risks, proactively escalating issues and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Ensure data accuracy, process compliance, and effective portfolio reporting.
  • Utilise project management tools and AI-enabled technologies to improve project delivery, automate routine tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, clinical research, or related environments.
  • Experience managing complex project portfolios across multiple business functions.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, including contracting, onboarding, and invoicing.
  • Strong stakeholder management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Planisware, or similar.
  • Knowledge of AI and automation tools used within project management workflows.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, budget management, and project governance within a regulated environment.
  • Experience in HEOR/RWE projects is desirable but not essential. Candidates with strong project management experience in clinical trials or other research settings are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Fiori, Ariba, or similar financial systems is advantageous.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
