We’re looking for a Business Support Administrator to play a key role in supporting our commercial and operational activities.

The Role

As our Business Support Administrator, you’ll provide essential administrative support across a range of business activities, helping ensure the smooth operation of client-facing and internal processes.

This is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to commercial operations, client management and business support activities within a successful and growing pharmaceutical organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage client documentation including NDAs and service agreements
  • Maintain and update CRM systems and customer records
  • Support preparation and issuing of quotations and standard documentation
  • Coordinate client communications and business updates
  • Support contract management, including tracking, storage, and updates
  • Assist with invoicing processes and purchase order administration
  • Organise meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and action tracking
  • Maintain accurate records in line with quality and regulatory standards
  • Support preparation of reports, presentations, and business documentation
  • Provide general administrative support, including travel and event coordination

You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities, handling sensitive information professionally and working within structured processes.

Essential Skills and experience

  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or business support role
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling business documentation.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using CRM systems, databases or document management systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage commercially sensitive information.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, manufacturing or other regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GxP or quality-regulated processes.
  • Experience supporting contracts, service agreements or quality systems.
  • Familiarity with invoicing and purchase order processes.
  • Experience supporting client communications, newsletters or commercial activities.
