Partnership & Commercial Leadership | £45,000 – £50,000 | Huddersfield (Hybrid)
Enterprise communication can be complex. At Paradigm, we don’t believe in adding to the noise. We partner with some of the biggest names in tech, finance, and healthcare to turn intricate challenges into slick, memorable visual content and flawless live events.
We live by four core principles: Clarity over Clutter, Partnership over Process, Calm over Chaos, and Impact over Ego.
As we expand, we are looking for a sharp, commercially heavyweight, and highly proactive Account Manager to act as the strategic and commercial anchor for our integrated partnerships. We need someone who is equally comfortable talking to clients about the strategic opportunities of a video series, how to translate goals into outcomes on an event and when a livestream can be deployed to maximise an audience.
The Role
As an Account Manager at Paradigm, you sit at the absolute centre of the client relationship, acting as their trusted advisor and strategic shield. You aren’t an order-taker waiting for a brief; you are a consultant who uncovers the “why” behind a client’s business objectives before defining the “what.”
You will work together with our dedicated Video/Event Producers and Operations Manager. Your unique value lies in understanding the interplay between live experiences and digital content. You will be the person who confidently guides enterprise clients through our ecosystem; helping them see how a high-end video asset, a multi-camera live stream, and a large-scale live event work together to drive business outcomes. When a broad, 6-month campaign touches multiple disciplines, you’re the glue holding the commercial, strategic, and communications together.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Client Advisory (The “Why”): Act as the primary consultant for senior enterprise stakeholders. Instead of just taking asset orders, you’ll interrogate their business goals to build solutions that blend live events, technical streaming, and video content.
- Commercial Leadership & Scoping: Own the revenue, margins, and financial health of your portfolio. You will lead high-level discovery, collaborate with production teams to develop robust budgets, and confidently navigate client procurement, budget thresholds, and change requests.
- Integrated Project Governance: Play the lead role in aligning large-scale, multi-disciplinary briefs. While our Producers own the technical day-to-day execution, you own the macro timeline, strategic integrity, and high-level client experience.
- Proactive Account Growth: Look past reactive project dependencies. You will identify cross-selling opportunities across different business divisions, pitch proactive annual retainers, and sweat existing client assets (e.g., turning live event footage into evergreen sales content).
- Scope Protection: Act as the main client point of contact to help our production and operations teams focus on delivery, managing client expectations tightly to eliminate scope creep and protect agency profitability.
Who you are:
- The Integrated Expert: You have solid account management experience within an agency or client environment. Your portfolio includes live event or conference production alongside video content.
- Strategic Thinker: You don’t just talk about production deliverables; you talk about audience sentiment, stakeholder outcomes, and business ROI.
- Commercially Heavyweight: You have a sharp head for numbers, gross profit margins, and budget forecasting. You know how to confidently talk money and scope constraints with enterprise clients.
- The Calm Coordinator: You effortlessly track the moving parts of a multi-service project, anticipating bottlenecks before they happen and bringing a solutions-focused energy to the room.
- Relationship Builder: You naturally command the room with senior stakeholders, building deep trust quickly and navigating complex organisations with ease.
What you’ll get in return:
- Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 PA (dependent on experience)
- Flexibility: We get together in our Huddersfield office on Mondays to collaborate and set the tone. You’ll spend time out and about with clients and in the studio collaborating with the team, with the opportunity for some hybrid home working during the week.
- Plenty of time to unplug: 6.6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays, your birthday off, and an extended, guaranteed Christmas break).
- Great extras: Auto-enrolment pension (5% contribution post-probation), a health cash plan, structured training opportunities, and regular ways to give back through the Paradigm Community Partnership.
- Doing your bit: Knowing your work is climate-positive via our active Ecologi partnership.
If you possess sharp commercial instincts, love the puzzle of coordinating live and digital multi-discipline projects, and have a passion for deep client partnership, we’d love to have a conversation.
