A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking a Lab Technician to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for immediately available candidates looking for some additional experience in a Lab. Prior experience in a Lab environment is desirable.
Role Overview
- Receive, record , weigh, split and extract samples in preparation for analysis.
- Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard operation procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025
- Temporary, Full-time(39 hours pw) usually Monday-Friday. Potential for extension or to go permanent. £12.71ph.
- Start Date ASAP – w/c 6th July.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
- Experience working in a production/ lab or similar relevant fast pace environment highly beneficial.
- Graduates of Scientific disciplines with Lab experience encouraged to apply.
- Must be available to begin immediately in Burton on Trent.
