I’m currently working with a well-respected Yorkshire law firm that’s looking to appoint a Senior Residential Conveyancer to lead the launch and growth of its new conveyancing department in Harrogate.
This is a genuinely rare opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who wants more than just managing a caseload. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the department from the ground up, influence its direction and play a key role in its long-term success, with a clear pathway to becoming Head of Conveyancing.
Alongside running a high-quality caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build and shared ownership transactions, you’ll be responsible for growing the team, supporting future recruitment and helping to establish the department as a leading conveyancing offering in the region.
The firm is looking for someone with around 10 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) who has strong technical expertise across residential conveyancing and enjoys building relationships with clients, estate agents, brokers and other referrers. Previous management or supervisory experience would be beneficial, as would experience using Proclaim case management software, but most importantly they’re looking for someone with the drive and ambition to build something of their own.
