The Role
ROCC Global is seeking an experienced and operationally focused Supply Chain Manager to oversee and strengthen our global supply chain operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the movement of industrial minerals from sourcing and procurement through to shipment, customs coordination, inventory monitoring, customer order execution, and final delivery.
This role requires someone who can coordinate effectively with suppliers, procurement teams, logistics providers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
The role would suit a supply chain professional with experience in industrial materials, commodities, manufacturing, construction materials, chemicals, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, or a related international trade environment.
Key Responsibilities
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
End-to-End Supply Chain Management
- Managing end-to-end supply chain operations from sourcing through to final delivery.
- Coordinating procurement, logistics, supplier communication, customer orders, and delivery schedules.
- Ensuring materials are available, shipped, cleared, and delivered in line with customer requirements.
- Monitoring supply chain performance, shipment progress, stock availability, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Supporting the reliable and cost-effective movement of industrial minerals across international markets.
Logistics and Freight Coordination
- Working closely with international freight forwarders, shipping lines, hauliers, customs agents, warehouses, ports, and logistics partners.
- Coordinating import and export shipments, freight bookings, delivery planning, and transport documentation.
- Monitoring shipment schedules, transit times, freight conditions, delays, and delivery risks.
- Helping to resolve logistics issues, customs delays, documentation problems, and delivery disruptions.
- Supporting efficient, compliant, and cost-effective freight and transport planning.
Supplier, Customer, and Internal Coordination
- Coordinating with suppliers, procurement teams, logistics partners, customers, finance, operations, and commercial teams.
- Supporting timely execution of customer orders, purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery instructions.
- Maintaining regular communication with customers and partners regarding order status, shipment progress, and delivery updates.
- Helping to resolve supplier, delivery, quality, stock, or availability issues.
- Building strong working relationships with supply chain partners and internal stakeholders.
Inventory, Planning, and Performance Monitoring
- Monitoring inventory levels, material availability, shipment schedules, stock movements, and demand requirements.
- Supporting demand planning, supply planning, order fulfilment, and stock control.
- Preparing supply chain reports, shipment updates, inventory summaries, and performance data.
- Maintaining accurate records of orders, deliveries, supplier commitments, freight costs, and operational activity.
- Using data to identify supply chain bottlenecks, risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Cost Control, Risk Management, and Continuous Improvement
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, minimise delays, and strengthen supply chain reliability.
- Monitoring freight costs, landed costs, delivery performance, supplier reliability, and operational risks.
- Supporting supply chain risk mitigation across sourcing, shipping, customs, warehousing, and customer delivery.
- Contributing to process improvements, reporting systems, supplier coordination, logistics workflows, and operational controls.
- Helping to build smarter, stronger, and more resilient global supply chains.
About You

You should be comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing shipment timelines, solving operational issues, and maintaining accurate supply chain records.

Essential Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, international trade, freight forwarding, import/export, or a related operational role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of supply chain coordination, logistics planning, order fulfilment, supplier communication, and delivery management.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, shipping lines, customs agents, or customers.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Good commercial awareness and ability to manage cost, delivery, service, compliance, and risk.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to prepare reports, monitor performance data, and maintain accurate operational records.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Desirable Experience
The following would be beneficial, but not essential:
- Experience in industrial minerals, raw materials, commodities, aggregates, ceramics, refractories, construction materials, mining, quarrying, chemicals, or bulk materials.
- Understanding of international trade, import/export processes, Incoterms, freight, logistics, customs, and supply chain compliance.
- Experience using ERP, procurement, CRM, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management systems.
- Knowledge of material specifications, quality documentation, supplier compliance records, and customer delivery requirements.
- Experience working with overseas suppliers, international freight partners, or cross-border supply chains.
- Experience reviewing freight costs, landed costs, supplier performance, shipment performance, or inventory data.

Working Arrangements
This is an onsite role, working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate should be confident managing day-to-day supply chain activity, responding quickly to operational issues, and ensuring customer orders are executed accurately and on time.
